Owner and Developer
Louis Dreyfus Property Group has developed, acquired and managed first-class office buildings in North America and Europe for over 35 years. Active in the Washington real estate market since the early 1970’s, it is currently developing Station Place, the 1.6-million-square-foot office complex connected to Union Station that is the headquarters of the SEC, and Lafayette Tower at 801 Seventeenth Street. Louis Dreyfus Property Group also developed and owned the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown and 2001 K Street.
Architect
Kevin Roche has master planned and designed a variety of facilities, including corporate headquarters, theaters, campus buildings and museums, most notably the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A former member of the Commission of Fine Arts, Mr. Roche received the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 1982, the equivalent of the Nobel Prize, and the 1993 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal. He has designed several buildings for Louis Dreyfus, including Station Place.
Project Consultants
Buildings developed by Louis Dreyfus are known for their high construction standards as well as for their aesthetic design. Outstanding consultants are selected to ensure comfort and efficiency for tenants. The general contractor is Centex Construction Company; the MEP consultant is Tolk, Inc., and the structural engineer is Tadjer-Cohen-Edelson Associates, Inc. Kastle Systems has provided building security systems.
